The Obama administration has repeatedly denied that “Fast and “furious” increased the crime in Mexico. The problem with these stance is that it is 100% not true. Homicides in Mexico have dropped 15 percent to 20 percent in the first six months of this year compared to the same period of 2011, according to Mexican President Felipe Calderón.
Calderón said 2011 had proved “a climactic point” in drug-related killings, though he did not cite specific figures, in an interview published Sunday by the Spanish newspaper El Pais.
Eric Holder and his “fast and furious” running of guns into Mexico increased the violence and the President of Mexico confirms that now that fast and furious has stopped, his policies are starting to work again and the violence is in retreat. Maybe we should focus on internal policy and our growing coutries debt instead of creating violence in other countries.
